Everyone knows Deamon Starks, the wiseguy who don't seem so very wise at times. He's one of Denver's best riggers and he's not afraid to tell you so. Driving his ancient machine, the Barracuda known as 'Levaithan, He's out to prove he has what it takes to -drive-.
Silk is known to one and all as a woman of taste, class, elegance and beauty. She's also a surprising damsel and connected to boot. It's no joke then when we tell you she's racing a Rolls-Royce Phaeton Limousine complete with Martini bar. The after-party starts with her.
Chrome is one of the up and coming riggers in Denver, working out of a Garage in the Sioux Sector. Known for her flamboyant, bright pink Eurocar Westwind called 'Lipstick', she's sure to be one to watch on the course.
Blindside, many may recall from his vehicular duel with Starks not long ago, and his Ford Mustang, Gladius, is known around the street circut as a mean machine that eats asphalt for lunch. Expect him to be a strong contender.
A relative unknown, is Annie, an elderly elven woman with a flair for the inobvious, given she's racing a bathtub on wheels, a Ford-Canada Bison. We don't really expect much out of this driver, but it should be interesting. She did perform well in a recent demolition dash in the warrens, so who the hell knows.
Snake-Eater is a new ork on the Denver scene and we don't know much about him. We know he paid in cash, we know his car (A Honda 2330) is hot, and he's willing to have some fun.
Horst. What can we say about this man. He came in with the Saeder-Krupp racing team recently, known for his brutal, no holds barred style on the streets of Berlin in his battlewagon, Eisenfaust. Steer clear, if you can, if you value your ride.
The Red Serpents are a local institution, patronized by the Yamaha Motors Corporation, who's North American HQ is here in Denver. Part Go-Gang, part professional racing team, their bright red Yamaha Rapiers are a sight to behold when they ride in formation.
Gunter,, the German SK-sponsored Rally racer, is known for his expertise in icy road conditions, trained yearly in a run across the Alps from Italy to Germany. His red BMW GHT-Rally is a well known sight in Europe, but this marks his first North American Race. Lets give him a warm welcome.
Kaufman. His name brings dread in Denmark's road rally scene. Seen as a sort of younger, faster, lighter version of Horst, Kaufmen's Ares Marauder Pickup Truck is a fearsome ride, outfitted to slam other cars out of the way.
Schmidt's a crazy one, on his BMW Blitzen prototype racing bike. Out for his own glory, he's not a member of any particular team, but he has longed to prove himself against 'real American drivers'. Lets not disappoint him.
Sigmund Eckers is known as a capable driver on the euro-circuit, funded by Saeder-Krupp and trained by some of the best. His Ferarri Spyder is low, fast and light. Lets see how it handles Denver Winter.
Snaggletooth is a local warrens favorite. A leader in the Demolition Derby arena, his ride "Frank" has been beat up so many times, then rebuilt, then modified, then beat up again, no one is quite sure what it -was- when he started.
Mariko is one of those special cases. More money than brains, some say, with a fast car, a warped sense of humor and no sense of self preservation. She'll fit right in here.
A late entrant to the Mile High Rally, is local rigger Tanasen and his Land Rover 2068. A fitting vehicle for the rally, Tanasen is clearly planning for endurance and not flash. Not a bad plan, looking at the rest of the field.
There ya go. Your racers, their cars, and our entertainment tomorrow.
